My Monthly Wellness Protocol for Hormone & Whole Body Balance

Every month, I give my body consistent menstrual cycle support while adding on either a heavy metal detox or a mold detox, rotating these two focuses every other month.

This way, my cycle gets the attention it needs year-m round, while my body also benefits from deeper cleansing in manageable, gentle doses.

Menstrual Cycle Support (Every Month)

Goal: Nourish, mineralize, ease cramps, and regulate flow.

Herbs I Use:

How I Take Them:

  • Every day of the cycle: Raspberry + nettle as my base tea.

  • Follicular phase: Add red clover for extra hormone balance.

  • Menstrual phase: Add yarrow only if bleeding is heavy (3–5 days max).

Brew: 2–3 Tbsp total leaf per 1 L hot water, steep 20–30 min covered. Drink 2–3 cups/day. These leaves can be blended together in the same pot.

Add On Focus: Heavy Metal Detox (Alternate Months)

Goal: Bind and remove stored heavy metals while replenishing minerals.

Herbs I Use:

How I Take Them:

  • Tea: Burdock + dandelion simmered 15–20 min. Drink 2–3 cups/day.

  • Chlorella: Take separately from tea/food by 1–2 hours for best binding results.

  • Sea Moss: 1–2 Tbsp gel daily, first thing every morning.

Add On Focus: Mold Detox (Alternate Months)

Goal: Reduce fungal load, support liver/lymph, and bind mycotoxins.

Herbs I Use:

How I Take Them:

  • Pau d’Arco tea: Simmer bark 15–20 min. Drink 2 cups/day.

  • Milk Thistle: Crush seeds, steep 20–30 min, drink separately from pau d’arco boil.

  • Burdock/Lymphatic Cleanse tea: Take 1–2 times daily for extra drainage.

  • Diatomaceous Earth: 1 tsp in water, 1–2 hours away from herbs/meals.

How the Rotation Works

  • Every month: Menstrual cycle tea daily

  • Month 1 add-on: Heavy metal detox tea + binders

  • Month 2 add-on: Mold detox tea + binders

  • Repeat rotation year-round

Tip: Batch brew each morning so you can sip your teas throughout the day without extra prep.
