You’ve Committed to Starting Your Herbal Tea Business, Now What?

You’ve Committed to Starting Your Herbal Tea Business, Now What?

So you’ve made the decision to launch your own herbal tea brand through our private label program congratulations! 🎉 That decision alone puts you ahead of most people.

Now that your $500 minimum order is placed, here’s exactly what you should do next to prepare your business for a smooth and successful launch.

1.  Create Your Brand Identity

Your tea line needs a name and vibe that reflects your message and mission.

Ask yourself:

  • What does your brand stand for? Healing? Womb wellness? Men’s vitality?

  • Who are you serving? Women with fibroids? Tired moms? Detoxers?

  • What energy do you want people to feel from your brand?

Then decide:

  • Brand/business name

  • Logo (use Canva or Fiverr if you need help!)

  • Color palette + fonts

  • Voice (warm and spiritual? bold and confident?)

2. Design Your Labels

Once your teas are packaged, you'll need to apply your own custom labels.

Your labels should include:

  • Product name

  • Ingredients (we provide this)

  • Instructions (we also provide this)

  • Net weight

  • Your business name + website or contact info

Optional: Add your logo, brand colors, and a short wellness message.
You can create and print labels using Canva, Avery, or a local print shop.

3.  Build a Simple Website

People need a place to shop your teas online. You don’t need anything fancy start small.

We recommend:

  • Shopify (very easy and secure)

  • Add your logo, product photos, and product descriptions (we help with these!)

  • Set up a simple About page and Contact page

Don't wait for everything to be perfect  the key is to start.

4. Claim Your Social Media Handles

Before anyone else grabs your name, go sign up for your brand on:

  • Instagram

  • TikTok

  • Facebook

  • Pinterest (optional)

  • YouTube (optional but great for long-form content)

Even if you’re not posting yet, claim the names that match your brand so your community can find you.

5. Start Creating Content (Even Before Your Products Arrive)

People love being part of the journey share your process!

Ideas:

  • “I just placed my first herbal tea order, and here’s what I’m working on…”

  • “Why I decided to start a healing brand”

  • “These are the herbs I chose for my first tea line and why”

  • “Let’s talk womb wellness/iron-building/detox and what you’re NOT being told”

Use stories, reels, and carousel posts to build interest and trust.

6. Get Business Essentials in Place

If you're serious, go ahead and:

  • Register your business name (check your local registry)

  • Get a basic business bank account or PayPal business

  • Keep track of your orders, receipts, and expenses from day one

It doesn't have to be fancy just organized.

7. Launch & Promote!

Once your teas arrive and you’ve labeled them, it’s time to start selling:

  • Post your teas

  • Share your story

  • Educate your audience (what each tea does, how to use them)

  • Offer launch promos (ex: Buy 2 Get 1 Free, Bundle & Save)
