Tissue Repair • Gum Strength • Gut & Skin Support
White Oak Bark has long been used in traditional herbal medicine as a powerful astringent — helping the body tighten, tone, and repair tissues from the inside out. Rich in tannins and minerals, this bark is best known for its ability to strengthen gums, support wound healing, and soothe the gut lining in cases of inflammation or leaky gut.
When used as a tea or mouth rinse, it naturally fights bacteria, reduces swelling, and helps restore integrity to weakened or damaged tissues.
Key Benefits:
-
Helps tighten and tone gums, reduce bleeding, and fight oral bacteria
-
Supports gut health by soothing inflamed tissues and tightening leaky gut
-
Traditionally used for skin healing, wounds, and hemorrhoids (externally)
-
Powerful anti-inflammatory and astringent properties
-
Can be used as a mouthwash, sitz bath, or poultice as well as tea
How to Use:
-
Internal: Use ½ to 1 tsp per cup of water. Simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes. Strain and sip warm. Drink up to 2x daily for no more than 7–10 days at a time.
-
Mouth rinse: Brew as above, let cool, then swish for 30 seconds after brushing.
-
External use: Add 2–3 tbsp to bath water or apply as a warm compress to affected area.
